History

The company beginings

His education in the food technology field, love of the essence of wheat crops, as well as the challenge of founding his own business, were the inspiration of our founder Zoran Tanev to make the first steps into opening a wheat flour mill in the sunniest and southern most city in Macedonia, Gevgelija.

The mill is equipped with the
latest modern technology

The beginnings were humble, however highly enthusiastic. In combination with strong will and devotion, the demand for high-quality wheat flour increased, creating the need to equip the factory with new and modern technology.

The first silo for storing
weath is being built

Selecting, purchasing and preserving the finest wheat is the crucial step in being able to make a quality baked product. In order to achieve this, the first silo for storing wheat was built, because as “grain helps feed the world, silos help producers bring food to everyone’s’ table.” 

A new factory and the brand
'4You' is created

While Marie – Antoinette brought the croissants to France, it was our founder Zoran, who brought the best Italian baker in his sunny hometown, to share his knowledge and secret ingredient – sour dough, as the main component of our flaky, soft croissants, later to be known as 4U Croissants.

New laboratory for
flour quality control

Although tradition is important, we also place emphasis on quality control in all of our production processes. Hence, the need to establish a laboratory for flour and croissant inspection emerged.

New flavors and sizes
introduced

Everybody enjoys their croissant in a different way. Thus, as new markets were conquered, different flavor requests appeared, thus we enriched our croissant with new tastes and weights.

4U is going under a complete
rebranding process

Keeping up with our customers’ expectations, requires that constant change as an inevitable part of our growth. Therefore, 4U went underwent a complete rebranding process of its packaging designs.

IFS implemented

Making quality the focus of our workmanship was among the main reasons for implementing the International Featured Standard, as one of the best global food quality standards. Furthermore, respecting our customers’ traditions and heritage is also important, thus the Kosher standard was also introduced.

A new factory for croissants with doubled production capacity has been opened

The increased demand for our savory, delicious croissants, brought the need for opening a brand new state-of-the-art factory for croissants, which doubled our production capacity.

Croissant preparation is a true form of art. Our skilled workers manage to recreate the same flavor for each croissant keeping its uniqueness by means of patience and lots of affection.

Sour dough is the special ingredient in the preparation of every croissant piece.

Using mother dough,

Manufactured from finely ground wheat, the flour type 400 is obtained from the heart of the wheat grain.
it is considered the higest quality - special purpose flour and it is recommended for the preparation of the fine pastries.

T500 flour

With higher nutritional value than the flour type 400, the flour type 500 is manufactured from the endosperm of the wheat grain. Due to the higher percentage of ash, the flour, has a slightly darker color. It is ideal for preparing pizza, cakes, pies,cookies etc.
